For Gua Sha, is 2 or 3 swipes per section enough?
Yes - 2 to 3 swipes per section is a great
place to start because this allows you to get the positive benefits with less
fatigue for your joints. This makes it easier for you to be consistent. With
more practice, you will become more aware of when to do more or less.
Where does Gua Sha fit into my skincare routine?
After you moisturize. Then follow with any
remaining skincare/makeup routine.
Gua Sha before or after shaving?
After for a smoother experience.
When will I see the results?
Right away. You can always start once a day (people see results even from the first time!) and as you get more comfortable,
you can up it to twice a day (morning and night) for better, longer-lasting
natural results.
Are the results permanent?
As always, consistency is key here to see
and maintain positive results. As you become more consistent, you
can skip a few days and still maintain positive results. Think of it like
a workout for your face. Remember: Even plastic surgery is not
"permanent" as it requires maintenance over time.

Can I achieve a slimmer face with Gua Sha?
Yes! Our Gua Sha routines help with
reducing visible puffiness, inflammation, and tightness (especially around the
masseter muscles). As a result, you will notice your face will appear less
puffy/bloated, less inflamed, and "slimmer" from releasing tension.
Can I do Gua Sha with just water?
Yes - If your skin tends to be oily, you can
try Gua Sha with just water: wet your tool with water for more glide along the way as needed. However, if you notice that the
tool is tugging or dragging on your skin, we recommend applying facial oil
first.
Can I do Gua Sha on acne?
Yes - You can do our Gua Sha routines while having acne as long as it's not open/inflamed/sensitive. Be gentle when
massaging areas with acne. Daily facial massage with lymphatic drainage is
helpful for achieving clear skin.
Should I do Gua Sha in the morning or at night?
Either one! If you want to put your best
face forward, morning is great. If you want to relax and wind down for
improved sleep quality, night is great.
Can I do Gua Sha with cleansing oil/balm?
Not recommended. Facial massage can enhance the absorption of skincare products which is good if you are using moisturizing products with nourishing ingredients. However, if you are using cleansing products, this can cause irritated, sensitive skin as cleansing agents are
meant to be rinsed off.
Can I do Gua Sha if I got Botox or fillers?
The recommendation is to wait at least 2 weeks after cosmetic procedures like Botox
or fillers before you resume facial massage/exercise routines. Consult
your doctor for more information.
Does Gua Sha help with face asymmetry?
Yes! Doing our face massages &
exercises will help you achieve more balance and harmony in your overall
